: As our research involves bioprospecting of genetic data from native Brazilian species, we are committed to respecting national and international legal frameworks. The transcriptomic data analyzed in this study were generated within institutional projects that comply with Brazilian Law No. 13.123/2015, which regulates access to genetic heritage and associated traditional knowledge. Moreover, all analyses were conducted in silico and did not involve direct collection of biological material. Nonetheless, future experimental steps involving the synthesis or application of these peptides will be registered appropriately within the National System for Genetic Heritage Management (SisGen - access n. AAF569 A) and aligned with the Nagoya Protocol on Access and Benefit-Sharing under the Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD).
