: This is an observational study. Both the NSVH and the UI-VTH confirmed that no ethical approval is required for this study, meanwhile, written and verbal consent was obtained from dog owners before sample collection. Moreover, efforts were made to minimize animal discomfort throughout the study – the dogs examined for this study were treated humanely, following the Ethical Conduct in the Care and Use of Non-Human Animals in Research guidelines.
