This study was registered at Islamic Azad University, Central Tehran Branch, Iran (registration number: 10121423972005). The statistical population of this study comprised volunteer obese women in Tehran, who were aged 18–23 years and presented a BMI above 30 kg/m<sup>2</sup>. Before participating in the investigation, the participants were informed about the study and each participant signed an institutionally approved informed consent document.
