: Experimental animals (<i>Wistar</i> albino male rats, 150 ± 10 g) were procured from the central animal facility, All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi, India, and acclimatized for laboratory conditions for 7 days. Animal care and experimental procedures were carried out following the guidelines set by the committee for the purpose of control and supervision of experiments on animals in India. The experimental design and procedure were approved by the institutional animal ethics committee of Guru Ghasidas Vishwavidyalaya, Bilaspur, Chhattisgarh, India (994/Ere/Go/06/CPCSEA).
