: This study was conducted in accordance with the ethical standards of the Tehran University of Medical Sciences. The animal experiment protocol was approved by the ethics committee of the Tehran University of Medical Sciences.

: Twelve adult male albino rabbits weighing 2000 ± 200 g were used in this study, which involved inducing wounds on the gingival mucosa and evaluating the healing process. All procedures were performed under anesthesia with ketamine and xylazine, ensuring minimal suffering to the animals.
