Chad Stecher was a member of the Scientific Advisory Board at Calm during the implementation of the survey, but no longer receives any financial or non-financial compensation from Calm. At the time this research was completed, Jennifer Huberty conducted investigator-initiated research and utilized the Calm app to deliver mindfulness meditation interventions. Calm financially supported her research with a postdoctoral scholar and two research coordinators (contractors). The roles of these persons were to help Dr. Huberty with her investigator-initiated research using the Calm app. Dr. Huberty consulted for Calm as the Director of Science and Director of the Scientific Advisory Board at Calm. Her role was to ensure the quality of Calm’s science and she had no specific obligations to the company. Dr. Huberty is no longer working with Calm.
