Animals with obvious anxiety, restlessness or tumor weight exceeding 10% of the animal’s own body weight should be euthanized if the maximum diameter of the subcutaneous tumor in mice cannot exceed 20 mm and that in rats cannot exceed 40 mm. This experiment did not exceed the prescribed tumor size, which met the requirements of the Ethics Committee.
