Ethics approval and consent to participate: This work was approved by the Institutional Ethics Committee (IRB/RES/21/11 and IEC/RES/37/17) of Bhopal Memorial Hospital and Research Centre. It was conducted with the ethical standards outlined in the 1964 Declaration of Helsinki and its subsequent amendments. All recruited participants or their legally authorized representatives (LARs) signed the written informed consent upon enrollment. Approval for the in vitro study was obtained via IEC/RES/33/16.
