: Local authorities from Nsanje and Chikwawa districts, Southern Malawi, were informed before conducting the study and approved after reviewing, and found that according to Malawi local legislation, it did not involve taking samples from the subject, vulnerable groups, nor capturing sensitive images and hence did not need a written consent.
: All participants were fully informed about the purpose of the study. Before the interviews, we verbally sought consent from each participant, and no personal identification was registered.
