: Comprehensible online educational materials facilitate effective healthcare literacy and empower patients to participate in shared decision-making, which is especially important given the complex diagnostic and therapeutic considerations for parathyroid disorders. This study is the first to assess readability of online resources for patients with parathyroid disorders and reveals a significant disparity in the current availability of resources at the recommended reading level, without available sources at or below the recommended sixth reading grade level.
