The soils were imported with the permission of plant protection section (PPS) of both Myanmar and Japan, and on the basis of a Material Transfer Agreement (MTA) between Yezin Agricultural University and Kagoshima University. In order to comply with the Prior Informed Consent (PIC) regulation, we consulted the director of natural resources and environmental conservations in ABS clearing house in Myanmar on the soil import and bacterial isolation with the soils on October 20, 2022, and received the answer that we can import the soils without any office process.
