: This is a retrospective exploration of prospectively maintained data from a high-volume cancer center. This study included all consecutive patients over 18 years of age who underwent surgery for GC at our institute between May 1, 2018, and December 31, 2023. Data were retrieved from electronic medical records; and a waiver of consent was obtained, given that all information was collected retrospectively. Ethical clearance for the study was approved by the institutional ethics committee. Declaration of Helsinki was followed throughout study.
