: No animal was used, harmed or captured. The used baited tubes are open at one end and small mammals can enter and leave them freely.Other material used are voucher specimen of the collection Senckenberg Naturhistorische Sammlungen Dresden and associated tissue samples (taken in different times) of the dead animals.
