: All animal experiments were performed with prior approval from the Institutional Animal Ethics Committee (IAEC) Advanced Centre for Treatment, Research & Education in Cancer (ACTREC), Mumbai, India (IAEC Approval no. IAEC/07/22). The IAEC of the ACTREC-TMC, Registration no. 65/GO/ReBiBt/S/99/CPCSEA approved the protocol. Animal care and handling was done according to the guidelines of the World Health Organization and the Indian National Science Academy, New Delhi, India ( ). Homozygous BALB/c Nude Mice ( Mus musculus ) aged 6 weeks and weighing 29 ± 4 g were used for all experimental procedures and were housed and maintained in the laboratory animal facility of the Advanced Centre for Treatment, Research and Education in Cancer (ACTREC) at the Tata Memorial Centre (TMC).
