: Combined effect of bioinoculants and nanochitosan has the potential to make beneficial impact on agriculture. Plant growth-promoting activities of PGPRs and unique properties of nanocompounds like high surface area and precise selection toward plant nutrients can synergistically overcome challenges such as low crop productivity, overuse of agrochemicals and nutrient loss. Nanochitosan used in this study increases the growth of bioinoculants in nutrient broth, so we can use this to enhance the performance of bacterial inoculants for their survival under pot and field condition to increase the plant growth and productivity.
