The transcriptomic data of patients with LBP from peripheral immune cells was retrieved from the GEO database (GSE177034). This study utilized transcriptomic data from a human low back pain (LBP) cohort, part of the PainOMICs project (NCT02037763), funded by the European Community under FP7. All procedures performed in those studies involving human participants were approved by the University Hospital of Parma's Ethical Committee (Protocol Number 43543).
