: Ethical approval for studying the effect of dietary oils on patients with Metabolic syndrome was obtained from the ethics committee of Shahid Sadoughi University of Medical Sciences, Yazd, Iran, with the reference number of IR.SSU.SPH.REC.1401.107 . The trial was also registered in the Iranian Registry of Clinical Trials (IRCT) on the 4th of March 2022 (registration ID: IRCT20130223012571N8; registration date:2022-03-04).

: The protocol of the study was fully explained to all of the study participants at the first visit, and they filled out a written informed consent form provided by the principal investigator before entering the study.
