: This study was performed in line with the principles of the Declaration of Helsinki. Approval was granted by the Ethics Committee of the School of Dentistry of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (protocol number 25/24–10-2018). Permission to visit all schools for ΗΙ students was granted by the Greek Ministry of Education (approval number 65359/Δ3/23–4-2019).
: The parents/legal guardians of the students received a leaflet describing all the procedures to be followed and an informed consent form. Only students with an informed consent form signed by a legal guardian were enrolled in the study. Students’ consent was obtained verbally, by accepting to answer the questionnaires and undergo the dental examination.
