: This study was conducted under the principles outlined in the Declaration of Helsinki and was approved by the Central Jutland Regional Committee on Health Research Ethics (Record no. 1-45-70-27-20), including approval of a supplementary application on September 5th, 2023. The Danish Data Protection Agency approved the use of registers from Statistics Denmark. The study was registered at ClinicalTrials.gov (NCT06705231) and in the local directory at Aarhus University (Record no. 2022-0367531). The Central Jutland Regional Committee on Health Research Ethics waived the requirement for informed consent. Since the study was register-based, with no direct contact with the included families, the authors ensured that no data were reported at an individual level.
