: This qualitative study was completed from August to October 2021. Ethical approval was provided by the Institutional Review Board at Delta State University.
: The principal author was contracted as an external researcher by a grant supporting the work of the Center for Community Research and Evaluation to assist in analyzing and disseminating the findings of the Mississippi Recognizing Important Vaccine & Education Resources (RIVER) collaborative. Three co-authors have worked as external evaluation consultants for Delta Health Alliance (DHA), the governing entity of the Mississippi RIVER collaborative. Three coauthors are employed by DHA directly. This research was performed in fulfillment of those roles.
