: The study used completely anonymized information from the National Family Health Survey (NFHS) Data Rounds (2015-16 and 2019-21) for the analysis. Before the commencement of the interviews for NFHS rounds, a written informed consent was obtained from the participants and significant efforts were made to maintain anonymity. Following relevant guidelines and regulations, all survey questionnaires for NFHS were designed and administered, as approved by the International Institute of Population Studies (IIPS) and the Institutional Review Board of the International Centre for Health Sciences (ICF Project Number: 631561.0.000.00.071.01.3). The protocols were further approved from Centre for Disease Control (CDC), USA.
