: The Brazilian Longitudinal Study of Adult Health (ELSA-Brasil) complies with Resolution 466/12 and related complementary resolutions of the Brazilian National Health Council (CNS), including Resolution No. 346/05, which regulates the review of multicenter research projects by Research Ethics Committees, and Resolution No. 347/05, which addresses the storage of human biological material in research projects.
