: Michelle McLean, PhD, M.Ed., is a professor in the Faculty of Health Sciences & Medicine at Bond University, Gold Coast, Australia. She is the Academic Lead for Problem-based Learning and also teaches the Histology in the first year of the undergraduate medical programme. Her research activities involve a range of aspects of health professions and medical education, including professional identity development, medical education in difficult circumstances and the role of health professionals as patient and community advocates, with particular reference to mitigating climate change.
