Declarations
:
: All authors declare that they have no conflict of interests.
: The study protocol, consent forms, information sheets and interview guides received ethics approval from the Institutional Review Board at National Institute of Advanced Studies, Bengaluru (NIAS/EC/SC/2017) before commencement of any data collection.
: Prior to recruitment, the trained qualitative researchers sought informed consent from potential PlPsDs and recruited only those who provided written informed consent to participate, permit the audio taping of the interview in the study, and permit in publishing the results of the study. The information sheet and the informed consent form were translated into the local language (Marathi); the information sheet was used to explain all relevant aspects of the study like the benefits and risks involved in participation, that participation was entirely voluntary and that refusing to participate would not compromise any aspect of their participation in ManasRang. No financial incentives were provided to individuals for their participation in the study.
