: This study was conducted as part of a larger project that obtained approval from the Ethics Committee of the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Ecuador (PUCE), which is an external committee to the university where data collection took place. The Ethics Committee Approval Code for this study is EO-115-2022.
: It’s worth noting that in this research, participant data was not collected in a way that could identify individuals, as the questionnaires were entirely anonymous, eliminating the need for informed consent. However, at the start of the questionnaire, participants were presented with an informed consent statement before proceeding to the sociodemographic questions. If they chose to reject it, the questionnaire terminated; if they accepted, they were able to proceed with the questionnaire.
