: This paper describes activities that did not constitute formal research and were assessed as lower risk to those who contributed. All contributors, including the team member with intellectual disability who is employed as a researcher within a large disability service provider, took part in their usual roles within an inclusive structure and agreed to be involved. As their participation reflected standard collaborative activity among colleagues with equal standing, ethics review and approval were not sought.
