: All aspects of the research methodology reported have been reviewed and approved by the XX ethics committee. The research proposal was submitted to the ethics committee in accordance with the British Psychological Society Code of Human Research Ethics Framework (BPS CitationRef removed).
: There were low risks associated with this study and the measures administrated to the participants. Participants were given a full description of the study outlined within the information sheet and a consent form which was explained and signed prior to the commencement of the study. Participants had the choice to opt out at any time during the 12 weeks or up to the point of write-up, without declaring a reason for withdrawal. Participants were anonymized, and their confidentiality was respected by replacing their names with ID numbers. Any information collated from the research was stored in a secure location, and documents stored on a PC were password-protected. At the end of the 12 weeks, participants were debriefed and offered a chance to read the completed research paper if published. If participants were interested in the outcome of the study, there was an option to have a summary of the results sent out to them via an email request
