: The case study was performed with the approval of the local Research Ethics Committee and delegated Caldicott Guardian in accordance with the Declaration of Helsinki. All data was collected from EHRs and national registries previously anonymised by the DataLoch service (Edinburgh, UK) and analysed in a Secure Data Environment. Consent from patients was not required for this study.
