: For data of patients of the Saint Louis cohort, this research complies with all relevant ethical regulations. Written informed consent was obtained from all participants in accordance with the Declaration of Helsinki and procedures established by the Washington University in Saint Louis Institutional Review Board. All participants were compensated for their time. All aspects of this study were approved by the Washington University School of Medicine (WUSM) Internal Review Board. For data of patients of the Padua cohort, participants from this dataset provided written informed consent following the Declaration of Helsinki principles and procedures established by the Stroke Unit and Neurological Clinic of the Hospital of Padua. This is a retrospective and non-interventional study, that received approval from the Ethics Committee of the Azienda Ospedale Università Padova.
