: The novelty of our work entitled “Chemical composition, antioxidant and antimicrobial activities of Eucalyptus cinerea essential oil with its insecticidal effect against Ceratitis capitata adults” can be summarized as the major essential oil components responsible for its biological activities. Eucalyptol was the major compounds in the E. cinerea essential oil. We assume that E. cinerea was efficient against all the tested bacteria and exhibited antioxidant activities. In addition, this work explored for the first time the insecticidal activity of Eucalyptus cinerea by topical application against C. capitata adults.
