: This case article is based on the reflections and experiences of the study authors and student research assistants/interns. All data or observations regarding human behavior is secondhand. The only primary data collected for this case article regarded the food disappearance at the little free farmstands. Users of the little free farmstands were not observed directly, and formal interviews were not conducted with local community members, which would both require institutional review board (IRB) approval or informed consent. Future studies should pursue such methods, but these methods were not used in this case article.
