: The cell line used in this study was procured from the National Centre for Cell Science (NCCS), Pune, India. As NCCS operates under government regulations and provides authenticated cell lines for research, no additional ethical clearance was required for its use.

: The plant material was collected from the MRG Thittu region of the Pichavaram mangrove forest by local collectors. Authentication was performed by Dr. Senthilkumar Umapathy, Assistant Professor, Department of Botany, Madras Christian College, Chennai, India. The collection, characterization, and documentation of the plant material were conducted in accordance with the University’s research ethics guidelines for landrace or germplasm accession studies.
