: The plants used in the study Artemesia afra and Catharanthus roseus were acquired from the Botanical Garden of the North-West University (NWU), Potchefstroom, South Africa, and authenticated by the university's Botanist. After preparation, the herbarium voucher specimens bearing the specimen numbers PU0016058 and PUC0016057, respectively. The use of plants in the study complies with international, national, and/or institutional guidelines.
