: All authors are employed by commercial companies, who are in principle investigating the use of quantum computing for applications with the aim of its commercialisation. The results of this work inform future commercial activities of the companies in the application of quantum computation. Machine Learning Reply has received a government grant by the Bavarian Ministry of Commerce for benchmarking quantum algorithms. The results of this work have been used in the application of this grant and will inspire the research carried out. Furthermore, the authors have no direct financial benefit from the research reported in this manuscript.
