: All three accessions of male vines of <i>C. grandis</i> are cytologically stable (2<i>n</i> = 24). In relation to reproductive output, high fruit set and fruit weight are observed in wild female vines as compared to cultivated plants. The same has been reported in Kathua population as compared to others. So Kathua accession can be recommended to the farmers for cultivation.
