The study was conducted conferring to the ethical guidelines of the 1975 Declaration of Helsinki and the procedure for manual collection of milk was approved by the ethical committee of SAFE SEARCH INDEPENDENT ETHICS COMMITTEE, Ahmedabad- 380058, Gujarat, India (OHRP Reg. No. IRB00005741/ DCGI Reg. No. ECR/174/Indt/GJ/2014). Participants/guardians had provided written, informed consent to participate in the study (Format of Consent form attached as Supplementary File ). We have a specific format to get the consent of patients/parents of minors. These forms are confidential and cannot be disclosed as per the Institutional Ethics Committee’s guidelines.
