: This study is one of the first to investigate the relationship between adverse childhood experiences (ACEs), developmental timing of ACEs, coping styles, and four indicators of mental health among a diverse sample of college students. The findings make a valuable contribution to the literature focused on the relationship between childhood adversity and young adult mental health and resilience, and provide important information for future prevention programming.
