: Approval from the animal research ethics committee was not required, as hunting activities were organized independently as part of routine wildlife management based on Law No. LV. of 1996 on the Protection, Management and Hunting of Wildlife, and were inspected by the local government authority. Tissue samples were collected from the cooled carcasses after the hunting activities.
