: This project began when five professionals—authors PG, JL, and JR and EJOL leaders Ms. Ha T. T. Tran (HT) and Prof. Jane Fisher (JF)—decided to explore, via developmental evaluation, the success of EJOL in transition to scale, in light of a thematic framework colleagues had developed. In keeping with developmental evaluation practice, all five professionals participated in the evaluation as colleagues. No information was used for the evaluation other than materials and commentary contributed by HT and JF. At that time, there was no intent to submit results to a journal for publication. Once the analysis was complete and a summary of the findings circulated among the five participants, however, HT and JF suggested that the work be submitted for publication, on grounds that these findings seemed potentially of broader interest. PG, JL, and JR concurred, and suggested that all five participants co-author an article. At that point, HT and JF responded with their preference that PG, JL, and JR, write the article and acknowledge HT and JF in the article itself. All five participants agreed to this approach. HT and JF approved the use of the information and comments they had supplied, including directly attributed quotations, in the article; they approved submission of this article for publication. PG, JL, JR, HT, and JF all have all approved this declaration.
