: Generally<b>,</b> plant ethics was maintained and nothing was done that affects the plants. The researchers obtained a permission from Tigray Agricultural Research Institute to collect the plant parts, mainly seeds. A group of breeding and agronomy researchers viz. Zenawi Gebregergis, Fiseha Baraki and Goitom Teame executed the in-situ characterization and collected the seeds. We did not collect any plant parts other than the seeds and hence, no specimen was used in the study.
