: Ethical approval is not required from research ethics committees as the study does not involve humans and animals. The study focus on socio-economic context with informed consent obtained from each respondent. First, the researchers have obtained a support letter from Haramaya University, Department of Rural Development and Agricultural Innovation according to reference no RD/03/261/2014 on the date of 30/02/2022. The letter was submitted to Dugda and Bora Districts and obtained consent. Then the district officers wrote an official letter to the local administrators (kebeles) where the study was conducted. Informed consents were also obtained from the households, discussants, and informants before data collection in conformity with anonymity requirements for the study participants. There is no personally identifiable information was collected and sensitive topics were approached with respect and ethical consideration of respondent well-being.
