: The study was conducted as part of a doctoral study and was solely based on field surveys, without involving any animal or human trials. The research proposal was rigorously reviewed and approved by the Scientific Review Committee of the Doctoral School of Agricultural Sciences and Water (EDSAE) at the University of Abomey-Calavi-UAC (Republic of Benin), which served as the ethics committee, with approval number 382-2022/MESRS/UAC/EDSAE/D/DA/SCM/SA. The study was carried out in accordance with the ethical standards and regulations issued by the University of Abomey-Calavi. Participation in the survey was voluntary, and verbal informed consent was obtained from all participating farmers. No minors were involved in this study.
