: Before the application of the survey on the participants the co-author requested for a written consent but most participants living in interior areas were able to give verbal consent. The purpose of the survey was shared with the Press Club at Pune where the participants were members. Being a field survey covering a vast rural area the authors could not travel physically to obtain written consent. In addition, the respondents being Journalists were aware and are literate, and the data obtained do not include personal information and reveal only opinions. The participants were informed that the findings would be published, and because the topic was a concern for them, they expressed that they don’t have the time and readily gave verbal consent. The details were shared with the Ethics and Academic Integrity Committee and waiver obtained as per protocol and relevant guidelines (eic@scmc.edu.in and iec@siu.edu.in).
