: This study involved 200 human participants, who were interviewed regarding their economic activities and income from each source, particularly in the agricultural sector and tourism. The study was approved by the Research Ethics Committee of Mizoram University, India. It is further certified that the study was conducted in accordance with the ethical standards laid down in the 1964 Declaration of Helsinki. Informed consent was obtained from all participants. For respondents under 18 years of age, consent was obtained from a parent and/or legal guardian.
