: This study formed part of a master’s research project and was based entirely on field surveys, with no experimental procedures involving animals or invasive interventions involving humans. The research proposal, including its methodology and ethical considerations, was reviewed and approved by the Research and Postgraduate Programs Directorate of Jinka University. The study was conducted in accordance with institutional, national, and international ethical standards and guidelines (FAO, 2009; EBI, 2020). All participating households were informed about the objectives and procedures of the study prior to data collection. Written informed consent was obtained from all participants. Participation was voluntary, and the confidentiality and anonymity of respondents were strictly maintained.
