: This study originated from a master's thesis conducted at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin and involved human participants through semi-structured interviews. The study was non-interventional, focusing on the collection of perspectives and experiences through voluntary qualitative interviews. At the Albrecht Daniel Thaer-Institut at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin, the institute's ethics committee delegates the review of ethical research to the supervisors: "[…] in the case of student projects and qualification theses, the supervisor shall review and assess the ethical acceptability. The committee shall provide supervisors with a checklist for this purpose, which sets out the criteria for ethical review. […]" (Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin, 2020, p. 2). Within the framework of this project, ethical approval was granted by Prof. Michelle Bonatti and Prof. Elmar Kulke as part of their supervisory activities, confirming that the study was designed and implemented in full accordance with the principles outlined in the Declaration of Helsinki (2013 revision) and the European Code of Conduct for Research Integrity (ALLEA, 2017). Additionally, the research adhered to the ethical guidelines for qualitative social science research recommended by the German Research Foundation (DFG) in its Guidelines for Safeguarding Good Research Practice (2019). Participation was entirely voluntary. All interviewees were informed about the objectives of the study, the intended use of the data, and data protection considerations prior to participation. Oral informed consent was obtained at the beginning of each interview. Participants were informed of their right to withdraw from the study at any time without consequences. All data were analysed and presented in anonymous, aggregated form, ensuring that individual participants cannot be identified. Data handling complied with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR, 2016/679).
