Ethics approval and consent to participate: The research protocol was reviewed and approved by the Departmental Review Board of the Department of Geology, Aksum University, Ethiopia (Ref. No.: AfuSC/6200/03/1120; Approval Date: 20 April 2024). Data collection was limited to a questionnaire-based socioeconomic assessment.
