: The Medicinal traditional and garden-fresh leaves of P. macrosolen L. was collected from Dambi Dollo University, Kellem Wollega Zone, and Oromia, Ethiopia. The leaves of P. macrosolen L. samples are collected during exploration programmes duly permitted and approved by the Dambi Dollo University and samples are documented properly. As a Professor of the University and head of Centre for Excellence-Indigenous Knowledge, Innovative Technology Transfer and Entrepreneurship cell, Corresponding author (K.R) is fully authorized to collect, conserve and characterize the local crop resources for research. All the guidelines were followed as per the University research ethics for collection, characterization and documentation of leaves of P. macrosolen L.
