The flax (Linum usitatissimum) and kenaf (Hibiscus cannabinus) plant materials used in this study were collected from a private farm located at Thalampatti (Latitude: 10.331786, Longitude: 78.758218), Pudukkottai District, Tamil Nadu, India. The farm is privately owned by the corresponding author, Dr. Balaji karuppiah.
