: The Tanzania Demographic and Health and Malaria Indicator Survey 2022 received ethical approval from the ICF Macro Institutional Review Board, Maryland, USA. The data was collected by Tanzania Bureau of Statistics and the Office of the Chief Government Statistician (OCGS) in collaboration with the Ministry of Health, Tanzania Mainland and the Ministry of Health, Zanzibar. Respondents informed written and verbal consent to participate and for publication was obtained before data collection. All data collection was carried out in accordance with relevant guidelines and regulations of the ICF Institutional Review Board and the OCGS.
